Dear Valued Customers,
As we enter into a new week, the health and safety of our customers, associates and community remain a top priority at our store. We take our critical role of serving the community to heart, and will continue to work to implement additional changes around the store to best serve you as we adjust to the ever-changing situation regarding coronavirus (COVID-19).
We will continue to operate the store during the hours of 8am-8pm daily so that we can best serve you and allow our associates to get some well-earned rest. Purchase limits remain in place for highly sought products, so that we may help provide access for all our customers.
Product availability in our Meat & Seafood, Deli, Bakery and Produce Departments is good. And while you may find stock on some products to be low or temporarily out in other departments, such as Grocery, Frozen Food and Dairy, please rest assured knowing we are in close contact with our suppliers and are scheduled to receive new deliveries daily. We encourage you to check back with us if you are unable to find what you need, as our associates are working hard to restock shelves. We also have a full selection of See’s Candies Easter products, as well as a good Passover selection.
Our self-serve Salad Bar and Olive Bar, as well as our in-store dining area, are now temporarily closed. We have prepacked several of your favorite items from the Salad and Olive Bars, as well as items from the Deli, to allow for a grab-and-go experience.
And while our Home & Office Delivery and Curbside Pickup services through RiceDelivers.com are temporarily unavailable, we highly encourage you to shop our store online for delivery through Instacart by visiting www.instacart.com/rice-epicurean.
Here are some of the recent changes and additional steps we are taking to help protect the health of our customers and associates:
• Plexiglass panes will be installed at all registers to further protect interactions between associates and customers
• Increasing the frequency in which we sanitize high traffic areas and all surfaces
• Enhanced deep cleaning each night
• Following CDC best practices for food preparation
• Reinforcing and continuously communicating our handwashing standards with our associates
• Associates are being told to stay home if they are not feeling well
As the situation continues to evolve, we will continue to provide updates and communicate any changes in store practices. We appreciate your continued support as we all navigate through this uncertain time. Above all, we strive to provide you, our customer, with the best service possible.
Your team at Rice Epicurean Markets
