Our experienced team of produce professionals hand-select the freshest produce available from premier growers and deliver you top-quality fruit, vegetables and herbs everyday.

Hand Stacked to Ensure Quality

We take pride in our produce, and still stack every item by hand, just as we have for more than 70 years. Stacking by hand takes a little extra time, but we feel that visually inspecting every item displayed helps to ensure that what you get is of exceptional quality. In addition to hand-stacking we also are cutting fresh fruits and vegtables for our ice tables every day.

No matter the season, you will find a bountiful harvest of Houston's best produce at Rice Epicurean Markets. We are proud to carry Driscoll 's strawberries and raspberries, Del Monte gold pineapple, King-of-the-West honeydews, and amazing stone fruit from SunSweet Fresh including plums, peaches, pluots, nectarines and donut peaches, Vine Ripe Cantaloupes and many more. Throughout the year we offer more than 25 different varieties of apples, and more than 30 varieties of tomatoes!

Cooper Farms Peaches

We've found what may be the best peach we've ever offered, and we are so excited about these blushing beauties fresh from Cooper Farms in Fairfield, Texas.
 
These peaches are tree-ripened, hand-picked, and delivered the next day. They are fully ripened, ready-to-eat and bursting with farm-fresh flavor. Enjoy them as firm or as soft as you like, it's up to you. Each one will be sweet and juicy - you have our promise.
 
Try these wonderful, juicy peaches during the summer months. They are indeed a thing of beauty and the queen of fruit.

We keep a stock of the most popular organic produce options and regularly feature unique and hard to find items such as heirloom tomatoes, star fruit, and fresh imported truffles when they are in season.

We are always ready to provide you with whatever special request you need, and will do our best to get in any produce item that you are looking for. If you ever want to sample something before buying it, just ask one of our produce professionals, and they will be happy to give you a taste. They are also happy to help you with advice on how to pick just the piece of fruit!
