Private Cooking School Classes

 

Our private classes are offered in two forms:

 1.  The fee is $40 per person with the Experience Card and $55 without the Experience Card and with a minimum charge of $400. This class can be hands on participation or a demonstration class with Elaine Small as Chef Instructor.

 2.  Another instructor, such as a restaurant chef; the fee is $65 with the Experience Card and $75 without the Experience Card.

        ·      The maximum class size for demonstration class is 40 people.
        ·   The maximum class size for a hands-on class is 10 to 24 people.

All attendees receive copies and tasting of the recipes.

Reservation Information:

Cooking School reservation line is:  713.954.2152 and our e-mail is cookingschool@riceepicurean.com. We hold our reservations with a credit card and our discounts are given if you have an Experience Card (grocery loyalty card).

On the day of the class, there will be a manager at the front where the cashiers are located. You may pay him cash, credit card or check.  He will give you two receipts, one for you and one for the school.  If you can,  please write your name on the bottom of one of the receipt and hand it to us when you enter the classroom. Thank you.

Public or Private Classes include recipes, hands-on or demonstrations and sample tasting.

For Public classes:  Menus are subject to change at the chef’s discretion. 

All classes are held at Rice Epicurean Market at 2020 Fountainview between Westheimer and San Felipe.  

Cancellation and Final Count Policy: 

To avoid being charged the full price of the class, cancellations must be made 72 hours in advance for 10 to 16 people and 1 week before the class for 17 or more people.  We will call back to confirm the cancellation.
